Who we are
Ask LUUK is a North Carolina limited liability company. We decide how the personal information described here is used, and we’re responsible for it.

What we collect
From our forms. Your name, email, company or firm, website, team size, how your books are doing, and whatever you tell us. From accounting firms, we also collect the services you’re interested in, the platform you use and roughly how many clients you might send.
When you work with us. Whatever we need to do the work. That can include financial records, bank and card transactions, and payroll and contractor details such as names, addresses, pay and tax identification numbers.
From your visit. This site doesn’t use analytics or advertising trackers. Our web host keeps basic server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to keep the site secure and running.

Who we share it with
We share information only with the people and services we need to do the work:
- Netlify, which hosts this site and receives form submissions
- Google Workspace, for our email, calendar and documents
- The accounting, payroll and banking platforms you use or ask us to use, such as QuickBooks, Xero, Gusto and ADP
- AI tools we use for routine tasks. We choose tools whose terms don’t allow them to train on your data.
- Team members and contractors who help deliver the work, all under confidentiality agreements
We may also share information when the law requires it.

Where your information is handled
Ask LUUK is a US business, and some of our team works from other countries, including Thailand and the Philippines. Your information may be accessed from those countries, with the same protections described in this policy.

How we protect it
We use a password manager and two-step login on every account. Each person gets access only to what their work needs, and we remove access when an engagement ends.

How long we keep it
If you contact us but don’t become a client, we keep your inquiry for up to 12 months. We keep client records for the length of the engagement and for up to 7 years afterward, where tax and employment rules require it.

Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it. Email hello@askluuk.com. Depending on where you live, for example California, you may have additional rights, and we’ll honor them.
We’ll reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires us to.

Children
This site and our services are for businesses. They aren’t directed at anyone under 18, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children.
